John T. Shave is a nationally recognized entrepreneur and a veteran of the telecommunications industry with a track record of success over the last 18 years. As CEO of Elite Media Worx, Mr. Shave has a vision of leveraging the latest mobile and internet technologies paralleled with social media networking to create a win/win partnership for merchants & consumers.

PROVEN TRACK RECORD
Most recently, Mr. Shave held the position of CEO, President, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Founder of Globalcom Communications, a facilities-based integrated communications provider. Mr. Shave's leadership directed the Company from a handful of employees into the largest privately held telecom carrier in the country. Moreover, Mr. Shave's extensive experience and successful track record of accessing equity and credit markets, allowed him to procure capital to grow his respective businesses.
Mr. Shave also has a history of being instrumental in lobbying the political landscape at both the state and federal levels. In 2008, at the request of the Board, Mr. Shave procured a buyer for the sale of Globalcom. He successfully executed a definitive agreement and the transaction closed in October for $58.5 million in an all cash transaction, in light of one of the most challenging financial environments in recent history.
AWARDS & HONORS
Mr. Shave was recognized by Ernst & Young as a Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001 and inducted into the Who's Who Hall of Fame for Ernst & Young. Mr. Shave was selected as a Regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Judge in the years 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005; he served as a National judge in the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. Mr. Shave and Globalcom served as a Regional Sponsor in 2007. Mr. Shave received the Fisher College of Business' Young Professional Achievement Award from his Alma Mater, the Ohio State University. In addition, the University of Chicago inducted Mr. Shave into the Chicago Area Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. As an industry leader, he has been the keynote speaker for several industry conferences and entrepreneurial classes at Pepperdine University and the University of Illinois Chicago in 2006.
BACKGROUND
Mr. Shave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University in 1989. He is an avid sportsman & outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, biking, running, motocross and golfing. Mr. Shave is also a producer of Independent Short Films and was recently recognized by several International Festivals on his most recent project. Mr. Shave has a philosophy that a balance of all aspects of life is important, especially the one between a business and giving back to the community; thus, he implores each company that he leads to implement a core value of commitment to community service.
